Ms. Scott is from Michigan where she attended Benton Harbor High School. Her favorite subject there was English.  She attended Lincoln University where she received her B. S. and then attended the University of Texas where she received a master's.
     Before becoming a counselor, Mrs. Scott was an elementary teacher working in Chicago, Illinois; Evanston, Illinois, and Washington, D. C. She even worked in her old high school.  Mrs. Scott has been working for DISD for four years.
